St. Rep David Welter of Morris says he intends to run again for the newly drawn 75th Illinois House District. The district includes parts of Grundy, DeKalb, LaSalle and Kendall counties.
Welter says serving as a state representative is the honor of a lifetime and he’s excited to launch his re-election campaign. Welter says his highlights include spearheaded legislation to keep the nuclear fleets open and passing Colton’s Law which updates outdated domestic violence policies.
Welter is also the minority spokesperson for the Energy and Environment committee and the Republican Conference Chairman for the House Republican Caucus.
