Mary “Tina” C. Kubiak, 73 of Streator passed away Thursday November 4, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Bloomington.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11AM until 1PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cory and Kayla Coyne, Jordan Poulaki, Jeff Graham, Bernie Minkler, Kelly Krocker and Samantha Washington. Honorary pallbearers will be Haley Collins and Mike Kubiak.
Tina was born on March 4, 1948 in Streator to Gaetano “Tony” and Mary Alberta (Henderson) Cantello. She married Sylvester Kubiak on June 14, 1980. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2003.
Surviving is a daughter Coleen Webster of Streator, step children; Helen Kinkin of Florida, Kathy (Jeff) Graham of Grand Ridge, John Kubiak of Ottawa, Susan (Victor) Rowett of Boise, ID and Mike (Laurie) Kubiak of Normal, grandchildren, Cory, Haley and Kayla Coyne, 12 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren, sister Dian (Richard) Wilkinson of Florida, brothers John (Donna) Cantello of Arizona and Tony Cantello of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Sylvester, grandchildren, Christina Kinkin and Michelle Graham.
Tina graduated from Streator High School in 1966 and attended IVCC. She was formerly employed at Thatcher Glass for 25 years and she retired from Rivershores Nursing Home in Marseilles as RN nurse.
Tina loved shopping she loved to watch NCIS, the holidays, cooking, baking and spending time with family. She was on a bowling league. Best memories were spending time with her grandchildren.
