Marseilles City Engineer Mike Etscheid says the boat launch project is on hold. But it’s not for a long period of time.
Etscheid says the Illinois River needs to go down before the company, John Pohar and Sons, can continue working on putting the boat ramps in. He also says he wants city workers to see how docks are put in and taken out at another lake before they do it at the boat launch.
The city has also installed most of the sewer in the Walbridge Subdivision and will start on 11th and Rutland next.
