Connie Brooks says once a nurse, always a nurse. After directing the LaSalle County Emergency Management Agency for almost a decade, she’s going back to work for the county health department. She’ll be the Director of Personal Health.
Brooks kept her nursing credentials during her time at the EMA. They came in handy during the pandemic.
At the health department, she’ll oversee several programs such as the breast and cervical cancer screenings, HIV testing, and the Women, Infants, and Children program.
