A 38-year old Chicago man is accused of having child pornography on a cell phone while he was at an Ottawa hotel two months ago. Ottawa Police Sgt. Kyle Booras says the investigation began August 31st. The Illinois Attorney General’s High Tech Crime Bureau helped analyze the cell phone for evidence. Meanwhile, a probation violation case began against Johnathon P. Ollry. He’s on probation from a domestic battery case in LaSalle County since he pleaded guilty last October. A grand jury this month approved the child porn charges. Ollry’s previous convictions include identity theft and aggravated battery against a police officer.
