Booster shots for COVID-19 protection are available from the LaSalle County Health Department. You must make an appointment. And you must qualify.
If your first shots were from Pfizer or Moderna, you must have gotten them at least six months ago and you must be at least 65 years old. Or you can get them at age 18 and up if you live in a long-term care setting, have underlying medical conditions, or live or work in a high risk setting.
If you got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, you can get it if it’s been at least two months and you’re at least 18 years old.
