Last night in postseason baseball,
The Red Sox now lead the ALCS 2-1 after defeating the Astros 12-3 in Game Three at Fenway Park. Eduardo Rodriguez earned the win after allowing three runs with seven strikeouts over six innings. Kyle Schwarber, Christian Arroyo, J.D. Martinez, and Rafael Devers all launched home runs for Boston. Kyle Tucker hit a three-run homer for Houston. Game Four is tonight.
The Dodgers are looking to bounce back from suffering back-to-back walk off losses to the Braves, allowing Atlanta to go up 2-0 in the series. The Dodgers will put their playoff hopes on Walker Buehler, who makes his third start of the postseason. Opposite him is Charlie Morton for the Braves. The series shifts to LA after the first two games were played in Atlanta.
The Blackhawks face the Islanders tonight in their home opener. The Hawks are seeking their first win of the season after losing to the Penguins on Saturday.
On Monday Night Football
The Buffalo Bills lost to the Titans 34-31 in Tennessee after The Bills decided not to kick a 20-yard game-tying field goal on their final drive, and instead turned the ball over after the failed attempt on 4th and 1. Titans running back Derrick Henry finished the game with 143 rushing yards and three scores.
The 2021 WNBA Champion Chicago Sky will have a celebration rally today at noon in Millennium Park. The Sky secured their first WNBA title in team history by defeating the Phoenix Mercury.
Tonight starts the 2021-22 NBA season with The defending Champion Milwaukee Bucks will be hosting the visiting Brooklyn Nets. Out West, the Golden State Warriors visit the LA Lakers. The season starts for the Bulls tomorrow when they face the Pistons in Detroit.

There was JV football yesterday and Marquette lost to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 40-8. For the Crusaders, Offensively, Payton Gutierrez rushed for 104 yards and 1 touchdown. On defense, Jaxon Rix had an interception and Tommy Stafford had a fumble recovery.
The Ottawa Dolphins competed in their first meet of the season in a dual matchup with the Illinois Valley Dolphins in Peru. Results for Ottawa: Individual Triple Winners were Ryan Nelson, Adam Swanson and Quinn Wilkinson. Individual Double Winners, Dawsynn Kettman, Lily Miller and Annabelle Threadgill. Single event Winners were Ben andLewis Kuiper, Corbin Lubelski and Aria Phillips.
Results in volleyball: Marquette lost on the road to St. Bede, LP lost at Sterling, Seneca won at Serena and Morris lost at home to Newark in two straight sets.
