Ottawa City Hall is raising the pay for leaf vacuum workers. A few weeks ago, the city announced pay up to $12 per hour. Friday, it announced it would be up to $15 per hour. Workers will begin by November 1st going through neighborhoods with the leaf vac machines for about a month. Anyone interested in the work needs to get an application from City Hall at 301 W. Madison St. or the Public Works building at 425 W. Jackson St.
