Four congressional districts would represent LaSalle County if the maps are approved by the state.
Ottawa would be in both the new 3rd district which starts as far east as Oak Lawn and comes into areas of Channahon before making its way west to Meriden.
Cong. Adam Kinzinger could continue to represent the northern part of Ottawa but not some of the southeast; that would be in the new 2nd district which will have cities like Marseilles and Streator.
The new 15th district would make its way into western LaSalle County and split up LaSalle-Peru.
The city of LaSalle would be split up into all three districts.
Sandwich and Somonauk would be represented in the new 11th district.
