Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Biba, 79, of Marseilles, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 17 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Sprinkel of the Seneca Assembly of God officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Betty was born August 31, 1942, in Ottawa, IL, to Richard and Helen (Pearson) Henry. On April 18, 1957 she married Wesley Biba of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 2014.
She was employed by Capacitors, tutored at IVCC and later volunteered at the Ottawa food pantry.
Betty is survived by two daughters and one son, Cathy (Harold) Stump, Sandy (Steve) Anderson, Dan (Mary) Biba all of Marseilles; four grandchildren, Dustin (Ayla Geotsch) Stump, Steven (Amy) Anderson, Sean Anderson, Michelle Biba; granddaughter-in-law, Lindsey Biba; eight great-grandchildren, Noah, Kendall, Kash, Addie, Peyton, Audrina, Piper and Moriah.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, Wes; a grandson, Danny Biba Jr.; a brother, Richard Henry; her sisters, Shirley Burton and Patricia Mehta.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
