Air quality is being tested at the LaSalle County Health Department.
The county board purchased an air filtration system with COVID-19 relief money and wants to see if it actually works.
Maintenance Director Bob Kaminski says that some equipment was set up to capture air for one day.
Kaminski says now the air filtration system has been put in place and will run for a week to determine if it works.
The County Property Committee will learn if compounds are being put off by printers, glue, carpeting or treated wood.
