A Marseilles resident is asking the city to do something about Rutland St. and Fillebrowne St.
Dave Johnson says the city should make it so cars can’t turn left coming down Rutland onto Fillebrowne.
He says the city should put a sign not allowing a left turn.
Johnson says the area is an accident waiting to happen.
Both Rutland and Fillebrowne Streets split and go up a hill in the city.
Police Chief Brian Faber says that after taking out a concrete island the city has had little to no accidents in the area.
Mayor Jim Hollenbeck says the city could put a reduce speed sign for cars coming down Rutland Street.
