No appointments are needed to get an influenza shot at the LaSalle County Health Department today and tomorrow from 1pm to 4pm and Friday from noon to 3pm. It costs $25 for the regular dose and $60 for the high dose without insurance. You should take a photo ID and your health insurance card if you have one.
And the shots are being given in the vaccination trailer outside the health department building on E. Etna Rd. in Ottawa. You can get a flu shot and a COVID-19 vaccine at the same time, but you do have to schedule that. You can contact the health department at 815-433-3366.
