Government jobs are among those with lots of openings lately. State Conservationist Ivan Dozier says several jobs with the U.S. Department of Agriculture will open up in Illinois soon.
Dozier suggests looking up “USDA NRSC jobs” online. He says people who’d like to stay in their communities but who like to get outside and use their hands are the kind the USDA is looking for. The work involves doing soil surveys and helping with conservation practices.
