Ella Marie Munson, 79 of Burlington, WI and formerly of Streator passed away Tuesday evening (September 21, 2021) at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI.
Marie was born on August 4, 1942 in Doniphan, MO to Cecil and Elsie (Hastings) Atchison. She married Oral “Dean” Munson on August 17, 1964. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2014.
Surviving are, Debbie (Dennis) Miller of Fondulac, WI, Larry (Heather Peterson) Hunter of Lake Como, WI, Steven Hunter of Franklin, Wi and Cathy Richard of Franklin, WI and a step-daughter Theresa Carrillo of Streator, 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean and a brother James Atchison.
Marie graduated from the Nursing program at IVCC and was a private care duty nurse and was formerly employed at Evenglow in Pontiac. She was affiliated with the Church of the Open Bible.
A visitation will be held Friday (Oct. 1st) from 12noon until 2 pm at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with services following and cremation rites following services.
