Things Mediacom has done during the pandemic have earned it an award. It got the Content and Creativity Human Resources 2021 Social Impact Award. Among its deeds was making low price high speed internet available to thousands of families whose children needed a lot more internet use for home learning. The company also gave $100,000 to regional food banks and $10,000 to a service that supports victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and other crimes.
