Peru fire fighters handled a small fire at JP Chevrolet on Frontage Rd. Friday evening. An outdoor ash tray appears to have been the flame source. There’s damage outside an office where the wall and roof meet. No cars on the lot were affected. Fire trucks from LaSalle, Oglesby, and Spring Valley were on their way to help in case it was a bigger fire.
