A softball tournament is being held this Sunday to raise money to help a boy with Leukemia.
The players in the tournament will be first responders and healthcare workers from in and around LaSalle County.
Firefighter Brazon Wheeler says some of the money raised is through local businesses.
He says 30 local businesses donated money.
Wheeler says after the tournament the Ottawa Firefighters Local 523 will post on their social media a way to have anyone donate to the cause.
He says the first responders that are playing are also donating.
The tournament starts at 9am at both diamonds in Lincoln Douglas Park in Ottawa.
