Ottawa’s  tennis team won on the road at Morris.  For the Lady Pirates, Ella Marvel and Sara Meyer were winners in singles. Winners in Doubles were Emma Cushing and Rylee O’Fallon and the team of Madison Lineback and Emma Stumpf.

 

The JV team also defeated Morris 4-1. For Ottawa: Layne Krug won in singles. The team of Mika Moreland and Aubrey Sanders, partners Peyton Bryson and Lexi Innis and the duo of Adalyn Borowski and Bianca Sipula were all winners in doubles.

 

 

Streator hosted and defeated Princeton in tennis. Winners for the Lady Bulldogs were Lucy Zavada and Claire Vogel in Singles and the team of  Mina Jones and Angelina Dellinger

In Doubles.

 

The Ottawa varsity golf team were winners over Morris at The Creek Golf Course. Top performers for the Pirates were Jonathan Cooper with an overall best score of 36 and Drake Kaufman finishing with a 37.

 

 

Seneca’s Varsity Girls competed in the Dwight Golf Invitational at the Dwight Country Club.  Top scorers for the Lady Irish were Laura Yegge with a score of 49 and Addy Stiegler with a 52.

 

Serena defeated Newark in soccer 3-1.  Richie Armour scored two goals and Camden Figgins added a goal in the Huskers win.

 

Seneca won at home over Marquette in Volleyball. Emma Smith had seven kills, four blocks and Sophie Cato finished with nine kills and one block for the Irish. The  Lady Crusaders were led by Kaylee Killelea with 24 assists and 14 digs and Makayla Backos with eight kills, 10 digs and two aces.

 

 

In Cross Country, eight teams competed at Catlin Park hosted by Ottawa High School. The Pirates were led by Lainey Billings and Grace Carroll in the girls race and Liam Tipple and  Aaron Noble for the Boys.
