Because they can’t have a full marathon, the organization Run Starved Rock will have a half marathon Saturday.
The organization says that anyone that registered for the marathon in 2020 is automatically registered for this half marathon.
Event Spokesman Matt Skelly says it will start at Starved Rock State Park.
Skelly says about 500 people have registered for the marathon.
He says some of the money will go to local businesses.
