Ottawa’s Eastside Park is fully open. City Commissioner Marla Rodriguez says people up to age 83 have been using the zip lines. Another part of the park has a cushion-like surface in place of mulch to cushion falls. The Eastside Park work started last year and was mostly done this summer. But some of the playground equipment was fenced off until recently because the surface wasn’t done.
