Bonnie (Irre) Verbarg
1945 – 2021
Bonnie Verbarg, 76, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 8, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Freedom Lutheran Church with Rev. Dana Coyle, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Freedom Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Mueller Funeral Home, Ottawa.
Mrs. Verbarg was born on July 8, 1945 in Teaneck, NJ to Edward and Elsie (Blanke) Irre. She married Don Verbarg on July 2, 1966 in Point Pleasant, NJ. Bonnie enjoyed painting working with stained glass, and making wedding cakes. Bonnie worked in real estate for many years.
She is survived by her husband Don; six children, David (Andrea) Verbarg, Mellissa (Roberto) Amodel, Joshua (Jenny) Verbarg, Jonathan Verbarg, Esther Paul and Nathanael (Raven) Verbarg; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother, Edward (Dot) Irre.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Jones.
