Twenty-one Illinois Valley Community College students got $1,000 scholarships for the cannabis production certificate program this fall. IVCC says money for it came from a $100,000 gift. NuEra, which operates a cultivation center and medical marijuana dispensaries in Illinois, provided the money. The company also operates six adult use dispensaries in five cities.
