William “Bill” Hunt will fill the opening on the Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees. The board chose him last night and he’ll take the seat next Thursday.
Hunt lives in Oglesby now. He has been on the Mendota City Council and has worked for the Cook County Sheriff’s Department and O’Hare International Airport.
The term Hunt fills goes until April 2023. It’s the term David Mallery resigned from after he retired and moved to Florida.
