Lasalle County Coroner Rich Ploch says the woman found Tuesday has been identified as 35-year old Ashley Marie Shuler of Ottawa.
Ploch says her body was found at the U.S Silica Sand Pit Quarry off of IL 71.
Ploch says the victim died because of a fall.
He says the investigation is still ongoing.
