To remember the attacks on 9/11, the city of Marseilles is holding a ceremony.
It will be at the Middle East Conflict Wall on Riverfront Drive on Saturday, September 11th at 9am.
Tourism park committee member Kathy Kocher says creating the ceremony has been a labor of love.
Kocher says that there is a lot of mixed emotions when it comes to remembering 9/11.
Kocher says the event will have opening and closing prayers, a wreath laying, and speakers like Mayor Jim Hollenbeck and Fire Chief Dave Parrot.
There will also be a piece of the Pentagon displayed at the event.
