Marseilles Elementary School District Superintendent Brenda Donahue says the first week of school has been good.
But Donahue does say that there are kids testing positive for COVID-19.
Donahue says that it was a good summer but now it’s about three cases a day.
Donahue says that although the mask mandate is in place, school days so far seem pretty normal but everyone is wearing a mask.
Governor Pritzker reinstated a mask mandate earlier this month for K through 12 schools.
