The Marseille Elementary School District will finish a project they’ve been working on since 2014.
Superintendent Brenda Donahue says a levee that’s been on the school’s property is being sold back to the United States.
She says that the U.S would be able to maintain the levee.
Donahue says that because of the levee that the area shouldn’t flood again.
The Army Corp made the request for the land.
