$134,000 in grant money will be going to different Lasalle County Libraries.

This is just a portion of $18 million in Per Capita and Equalization Aid Grants that will be awarded to different libraries around the state.

Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White says he’s extremely proud of the outstanding service Illinois” public libraries provide to all residents.

Reddick Public Library in Ottawa will receive about $35,000 in grant money which is the most in the county.

Other libraries like Streator will receive about $20,000 and Marseilles will get about $7,500.
