Peru Elementary students are waiting longer than usual for school buses today. Supt. Jamie Craven says the bus company has a driver shortage.
Routes 5 and 6 are five to ten minutes late this morning. Routes 1, 2, 3, and 4 are about an hour late. There may be delays on the afternoon routes too.
Peru Elementary parents who can drive their kids to school are encouraged to do so.
