Public Defender Tim Cappellini will be able to visit with the man accused of stabbing and killing 21-year old Grace Taylor of Ottawa.
Cappellini will go to the Kendall County Jail where 29-year old Michael Swift is being held to talk with his client.
Assistant State’s Attorney Greg Sticka asked Judge Cynthia Raccuglia to set a status date for September 2nd.
Swift refused to be in court last week for an unknown reason.
He was mentally evaluated as well but that information hasn’t been released.
