Nancy J. Cody, 83, of Ottawa, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021 at Pleasant View.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Rev. William Clark, officiating. Burial will follow at Harding Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
Nancy was born on January 9, 1938 in Ottawa to Faye and Gladys (Betts) Cody. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, class of 1956.
She is survived by four children, Susan (James) Bump of Umatilla, FL Stewart Penoyer of Marseilles, David Penoyer, and Matthew Penoyer of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Anthony Bump and Hannah Penoyer; a great grandson, Jayce Bump; and a sister, Barbara Frisch of Ottawa
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law Fred Frisch; and a niece Linda Walz.
Pallbearers will be Stewart Penoyer, Matthew Penoyer, David Penoyer, Anthony Bump, and Don Frisch.
