There’ll be twice-a-week testing for COVID-19 at Illinois Valley Community College starting next Monday, August 23. Shield Illinois, developed by the University of Illinois, will be used. It looks for the virus in saliva and gives results in less than 24 hours.
The college will also host a mass vaccination clinic Tuesday, August 24. President Jerry Corcoran says the college is doing all it can to keep students and employees safe from the virus.
