The 8th annual Overdose Awareness Memorial Walk is being held in Streator once again.
It will start at Streator City Park on Saturday August, 21st at 11am and go until 3.
Event Coordinator Debbie Hallam says the walk was started after her son died of an overdose.
Participants will walk down IL 23 and come back to the park.
The event will include music, food, and children’s activities, speakers in recovery and resources for those who need them.
