An award has been given to the Small Business Development Center at the Starved Rock Country Alliance. The center uses a program through Growth Wheel International. It provides visual aids and an online toolbox for developing a business plan and taking steps to further develop businesses. The award is named for Roger Luman, who directed the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship at Bradley University. And the center’s executive director, Amy Lambert, was awarded a 2021 Shining Star for Network Member Care in the Illinois Small Business Development Center network.
