Thousands of ComEd customers in our area are still without electricity after yesterday morning’s storm. The company estimates it’ll take until tomorrow afternoon to restore service to some of them. There are nearly 2,000 customers without power in northern LaSalle County, more than 250 in Grundy County, 73 in Bureau County, 331 in Dekalb County, and 238 in Lee County as of this morning. A few customers lost their power in a storm Tuesday night.
