The LaSalle County Board didn’t fill a vacancy as planned this afternoon. Board Chairman Don Jensen says the person who would have been appointed called this morning to say he changed his mind. The search for someone to fill Norman Sedlock’s term continues.
Sedlock, a Streator Republican, died June 30th. He’d been on the County Board since 2014. All current board terms end November 30th next year.
