The Illinois Department of Transportation says that starting at 7pm on Friday E. 3rd Road at Interstate 80 going will be closed.
IDOT says the road will be reopened at 5am on Monday.
IDOT is removing a portion of the bridge that is going over the eastbound side of Interstate 80.
This is part of a $16 million project that is replacing the bridge over the Little Vermillion River.
Last month IDOT closed Interstate 80 between the Interstate 39 interchange and IL 251 to remove beams from the bridge.
