The United Way of Eastern LaSalle County’s School Tools program is a little different during the pandemic. Program coordinator Kathy Morrissey isn’t putting out a call for volunteers. Just a few people will do all of the sorting and delivery.
Also, Morrissey is checking with schools to find out what supplies they actually need. With so many kids not in class last year, some schools still have plenty of pencils, notebooks, and other supplies for them. Families that need them should contact their schools to ask about getting them.
