All of this area’s nursing homes reporting resident vaccination rate for COVID-19 report at least 80%. The LaSalle County Nursing Home and Heritage Health of Mendota are at 95%. For staff vaccination rates, the numbers vary from 25% at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator to 95% at Prairie Crossing Living and Rehabilitation in Shabbona.
The numbers are from the U.S. Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and were compiled up to July 18th. They don’t cover the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle. Also, numbers aren’t available for Heritage Health of Streator for residents’ vaccinations.
