Olita A. Hudron, 98 of Streator passed away Monday morning (August 2, 2021) at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A visitation will be held Friday from 10:30 until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at noon at the funeral home with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Olita was born on November 15, 1922 in Leitchfield, KY to Ben and Sylvia (Edwards) Higdon. She married James Hudron in April of 1965. He survives.
Also surviving is a son Jerry Ward of Streator, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a brother, Oral (Frances) Higdon of Streator.
Olita is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Carolyn Worley, sons, Ron and Hershel Ward, a granddaughter, Brenda Worley, brothers, Hartford, Clevie, Jody Higdon, sisters, Opal Hodge, Sis Higdon, Eunice Alvey and Callie Meredith.
Olita attended schools in Litchfield, KY, and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
