Some of the people you meet at a Red Cross blood drive aren’t paid staffers. Regional Communications Manager Drew Brown says they are “blood donor ambassadors”, greeting donors and checking them in. Some of them drive the blood from the collection site to the storage center.
Brown says if you have free time and like meeting people, you could volunteer.
