Health department reports another death from COVID-19, says cases are still going up

Active cases of COVID-19 keep going up in the county.

The Lasalle County Health Department reports 493 active cases with 80 new cases and only 19 recoveries.

There has also been another death.

The health department says a man in his 60’s has died from the virus, making him the 315th death from the county.

The Lasalle County Health Department has also once again recommended masks indoors because the CDC says the county is experiencing substantial transmission of COVID-19.
