Linda R. Moore, 73

Linda R. Moore, 73 of Streator passed away Thursday morning (July 29, 2021) at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac.
A visitation will be held Saturday (July 31, 2021) from 11 AM until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Josh and Nick Simpson, Jason Harlan, Micheal Robinson and Robert Frias.
Linda was born on December 11, 1947 in Pontiac to Walter and Ruth (Foley) Simpson. She married Grover L. Moore on August 10, 2007. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2020.
Surviving are, daughter Darlene Hooper of Erin, TN, son, Jeff (Candice) Rose of Streator, grandchildren, Stephine (David) Merchant, Amanda (Juan) Arce, Jamie (Jason) Harlan, Alanie (Robert Frias) Rose, Jenna (Michael Robinson) Rose and Danielle Rose, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers, Steven (Wanda) Simpson of Wayne, IL, Gary (Jane) Simpson of Phil Campbell, AL and Daniel (Mary) Simpson of Blackstone and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Theresa Rose and a brother Keith Simpson.
Linda graduated from York High School in Elmhurst and was a former member of St. Stephen’s Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
