It’s now once again recommended by the Lasalle County Health Department to mask up indoors.
The health department says that according to the Center for Disease Control the county is experiencing substantial transmission of COVID-19.
The health department says this is also recommended for those who are fully vaccinated.
The CDC says that the delta variant is spreading twice as easily from one person to another.
Both departments are also recommending that anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated against the virus should get one.
