A 31-year old Mendota man pleaded guilty last week to starting a trailer fire and slashing tires on 14 cars in Peru.
Kurtis Kelchner of Mendota was arrested last year.
Judge Cynthia Raccuglia sentenced Kelchner to 2 years of conditional discharge.
He must also pay $2,538 in fines and costs and pay a little more than $1,300 in restitution.
The person who was with Kelchner also pleaded guilty to the crime.
Thirty-four year old Daniel Hodge of Peru began a year on conditional discharge last month and must pay $1,896 in fines and costs and $1,005 in restitution.
