The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation has a new president and C.E.O.
Pamela Beckett and Bob Eschbach say George Carizey has a strong desire to have a positive impact on the lives of all people in the community and that’s why they picked him to be the president.
There are also four new board members to the foundation.
Tracy Bedeker from First Federal Savings Bank, Norma Cotner, real estate agent, Dr. Sue Schmitt a veterinarian and owner of Countryside Animal Clinic and Sharon Schallhorn, a Bureau County Administrator.
Eschbach says the foundation has been looking to expand and diversify the board for several years.
