The name of the man who allegedly tried to enter a house in Ottawa has been released.
Lasalle County Coroner Rich Ploch says it’s a homeless man, 33-year old Matthew Cavanagh.
This incident happened in the 800 block of Tomahawk Drive on Wednesday.
Police were call to an intruder and shots fired.
Police then found Cavanagh dead on the scene.
