Children with disabilities now have a playground at Lincoln-Douglas Park where they can play like every kid wants to.

The Ottawa Kiwanis Club dedicated the playground to the city on Saturday.

Kiwanis Club President Lloyd Chapman says the playground was purposely built with a ramp.

He says that children can go up the ramp and be able to slide down slides like all other children.

Ottawa Commissioner James Less also says this is more than just a playground.

He says it took more than just digging a hole, installing equipment, and putting wood chips over it.
