The deadline for the Bears to sign Allen Robinson to a long-term extension has passed without a deal. The veteran wideout will now play the 2021 season under the franchise tag. Robinson will make nearly 18-million-dollars under the tag but won’t be able to sign a new contract with Chicago until after next season.

Last night at an independent league baseball game. A video went viral of the New Jersey Jackals and Sussex County Miners in the stands during a brawl on what was reported to be dollar beer night at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls. A video shows members of both teams spilling into the stands after a fan allegedly poured a beer onto a Sussex County player. The two teams play in the Frontier League, which is partnered with Major League Baseball.
